Featured Achievement
DC Math Classic
Trained and mentored the team that won 1st Place in the inaugural DC Math Classic Middle School Division at Nationals Park. They were the only team to earn a perfect score, completing the competition in just 27 minutes. This achievement builds on years of coaching students in the American Mathematics Competition (AMC), Math Olympiad, and Battle of the Brains, work that was recognized as part of my Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics Teaching. At Banneker High School, my math students achieved 100% proficiency on the DC state assessment, with 52% scoring at the advanced level, demonstrating both strong academic achievement and high levels of mathematical excellence.

TEAMS (Test of Engineering Aptitude, Mathematics, and Science)
Coached and mentored students who advanced to the nationally judged elimination round and ranked approximately Top 5 in the nation. Although they were unable to participate in the final round due to funding constraints, their achievement showcased exceptional talent and preparation.
